Just found out today that my good friend David Barber passed away. Dave and I were part of the Lydia Jackson old gang. We've been friends since the 2nd grade ... so for about 58 years now. His wife Loretta is planning to carry out his wish for his ashes to be strewn along Seal Beach sometime in May, later this year. I've asked her to keep me in the loop so I can be there for him. So long Dave, see you on the other side when I go.

Sorry to hear about Dave. I saw a lot of Dave during the summer of '68 when he was hanging at the Carstens home. I just attended Herman Carstens' 65th birthday party last night in Riverside and it was good to so him doing well. Amazing how many of our classmatess have passed.
