Bradley Sherman O’Cheskey, age 55, died from complications of lung cancer on Wednesday, September 14, 2005 at his home in Trumbull, Connecticut. Born in Los Angeles, California on April 13, 1950, he was the son of Theodore H. and Doris Faye Reece O’Cheskey of Whittier, California. Mr. O’Cheskey was a graduate of U.C.L.A. and the University of California at Fullerton and a U. S. Army Veteran. Mr. O’Cheskey worked for Unilever Best Foods for 34 years, retiring as Director of Human Resources in June 2003. During his employ, he led the Habitat for Humanity Program in Connecticut and then in New Jersey. He was also enthusiastically involved in company charity events including the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and Breast Cancer Awareness. Mr. O’Cheskey was active in Boy Scouts for many years, having started the first Indian Guides Program in West Windsor, New Jersey and continuing on to run the town’s Cub Scout Program for three years. He was involved in scouting in Trumbull for another nine years until 1996. Survivors include his wife, Suzanne O’Cheskey and two sons, Terrance O’Cheskey of New York City and Matthew O’Cheskey and his wife, Cindy of Trumbull. His parents and a sister, Marsha Ann Antonelli continue to reside in Whittier, California. He was pre-deceased in 1975 by a brother, Gary Randall O’Cheskey, also of Whittier.
