I never thought I’d join, after all I never graduated with you all. I knew most of you throughout grade school and at Dexter.
I had a bad time during HS and really fell off the earth.
I joined the Marines in ‘68 and went to Vietnam ‘68-70 with Marine Recon. After Nam I joined the Army and went through helicopter flight school, Warrant Officer Aviation Corp, 1970-72.
After that I was a locomotive engineer at Southern Pacific Railroad. 1972-77.
Became an Iron worker for a number of years, survived two failed marriages until I met my wife Anne. I’ve had two sons, Eric and Aaron. Anne and I have been married 40 years in February.
I got hurt skydiving and went back to school and became a mortician for about 7 years.
Now I’m retired, I live in Georgia, a small town and enjoy the slow life.
I’ve been riding Harleys for about 52 years now, still at it. That is my hobby.
In a nutshell, life is great. I’ve had a lot of injuries over the years, a lot of neck and back surgeries but I’m still standing. I have two dogs, a terrier and Buster, my huge Bloodhound. They help keep me busy. I’ll try to post some photos. It was fun reading through all your comments. I have never come to your reunions because I didn’t graduate so I’m technically not an alumnus. I enjoyed seeing your photos and I’ll try to stay hooked up with some of you.
